Strategic planning
Core team member for the development of Plan International in Pakistan Country Strategic Planning II, III, and IV. Developed a working strategy with provincial and national ministries of education directorates of education, PDMAs, and NDMA. Development of Advocacy and Resource Mobilization Strategies for ECCD and School Safety. Support NDMA to develop and roll out National School Safety Framework at the national level. Established Strengthened National School Safety Forum of CSOs, INGOs, UN- Agencies, and NDMA. An active member of the national alliance on Non- Formal Education. Developed partnership with AIOU, UNICEF, and JICA to develop a national accelerated curriculum for NFE primary.
Established partnerships with the Directorate of Staff Development School Education Department, Punjab, to build and roll out ECCD Curriculum. Established collaboration with Ministry of Education Sind to develop ECE policy. Lunched successful campaign on corporal punishment with provincial governments. Represented CSOs in developing, rolled out and launching NFE policy in Punjab.
Program Design, Development and Management
Well versed with the donor requirements and proposal development and ensuring compliance during implementation in the field. I have hands-on experience of working with EU, DIFD, SIDA, Irish Aid, AusAID, UNICEF, CIDA and EC grants. More than 30 proposals written and won. Designed regional projects on School Safety and EiE. Core team member of Business development in Plan International, Pakistan. Established and strengthen consortium of INGOs for successful project biddings in Pakistan. Designed and implemented a long-term integrated project on education, health, child protection and wash with the partnership of Unicef and National NGOs.
Program/Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluations
led the Monitoring, Evaluation Researches around School Improvement programs, ECCD/ECE, NFE, school safety, Child protection and education in emergencies for over 5 years. Designed project evaluation at regional project on EiE and School safety. Researches on school safety and corporal punishment supported NDMA to develop national School Safety framework and provincial government of Sind and GB to ban corporal punishment in schools. Developed and implemented
an integrated education project linked with child protection, SGBV, gender, health and livelihood.

Advocacy initiatives with Ministries of Education Sindh, GB, KP and Punjab to ban corporal punishments in schools. Successful Liaison with NDMA to development and rolls out of national school safety forum and comprehensive school safety framework. Working in partnerships

MoUs signed with Ministry of Non- Formal in Punjab to strengthen 180 NFE Centers. MoU signed with PDMA Sindh for DRR activities. MoU and partnership signed with AIOU and JICA for curriculum development.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Managed and Implemented 30 projects of 300 million in the diverse fields of Education Non- Formal Education Education in Emergencies School Safety and Disaster Risk Reduction and Child protection. Collaborated and signed 30 MOUs with government and INGOs, including AIOU, JICA, NDMA, PDMA, and district governments. Developed alliances in Pakistan with JICA, NCHD, and AIOU to work for Accelerated Non-Formal Education Curriculum for NFE primary. Established and Strengthen National Alliance on School Safety with the joint collaboration and coordination of NDMA, UNICEF, HOPE 87, UNESCO, and UN-Habitat. Signed MoU with NDMA and developed National Education in Emergency Guidelines with joint collaboration of NDMA, HOPE87 and Plan International, Pakistan Conceived, designed, planned, executed, managed, and supervised over 40 projects and programs in the diverse fields of Disaster Risk Management, Child-Centered Disaster Risk Reduction, Non - Formal Education Education in Emergencies, School Safety and Child Protection. Supported ministry of education Punjab and School Education Department to developed and rolled out a syllabus for ECE, Supported Government of Sind to develop and roll out ECE policy in Sindh. Advocated, supported, and facilitated the government of Sind and GB to ban corporal punishment in schools. Developed, coordinated, and contributed to more than 100 knowledge products, including research reports, training manuals, IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials, and working models/frameworks in the fields of Education Education in Emergencies and School Safety. Developed and implemented a long term integrated project in line with INEE and Child protection standards
I Joined Care International, Pakistan As Senior Project Manager in November 2022. Here I managed the thematic area of EIE. I have been Managing 3 projects of EIE in KPK and Baluchistan, with the financial support of USAID; Established 34 NFEs for Afghan refugees in KPK EiE and 12 NFEs for Afghanistan Refugee and host communities in Baluchistan; Developed consortium of 2 international and 6 local organizations for WISS funding. Initiated National Alliance on EiE in Pakistan with the like minded organization to promote EIE in Pakistan and involve federal, provincials’ governments, NDA and PDMAs to priorities EIE in their sectors plans and policies.
The followings are the keys Accomplishments.
· Initiated and strengthen National Alliance on Education in Emergency at national level to promote EIE in Pakistan and involve federal, provincials’ governments, NDA and PDMAs to priorities EIE in their sectors plans and policies.
· Linkages developed with ECW, GCPEA UNDRR, WISS and GADRRRES to join hands and joint ventures on EiE in the country.
· Supported NDMA to develop EIE guidelines align with INEE and specific context of Pakistan
· Actively Participate and facilitate the portion of EIE in the development of the Humanitarian Response Plan 2109
· Liaison with multi-donor pool funds (i.e., Education Cannot Wait, Global Partnership for Education), bilateral donor investment, and partner implementation and advocacy in alignment with the Pakistan Education Sector Framework and Education Policy 2017 to achieve sector-level results
· Develop Resource Mobilization strategy on EIE for the Care Pakistan
· Enhanced coordination and provide a very active plate form to other INGOs, UN agencies, and academia to sensitize federal government, provincial governments, NDMA, and PDMAs to include EIE in policies and plans.
· Draft Afghan refugee education policy aligned with the International Refugee Policy of UNHCR to adapt and include as part of National policy.
Now, I am working as Regional Programme Manager with Group Development Pakistan ( Pakistan), currently assigned to lead the 3 major projects promoting Child Rights and participation for Juvenile Justice reforms; Protecting and Promoting Child Rights and Counting Child labor responsible to develop strategic partnerships with provincial governments, INGOs, UN agencies; managing a team of 35 peoples; smooth implementation of the projects; capacity building of stakeholders; managing grants; developing reports and proposals: The followings are the keys;
1. Support to Program Planning:
* Support management to develop strategies; synergies GDP projects and programs with government priorities and linkages development with provincials ministries law and justice, education and non-formal basic education. Keep abreast of development trends to enhance programme management, efficiency and delivery.
2. Technical and Operational Support to Program Implementation:
Provide technical and operational support to Literacy department, law and justice departments, donors on the applications and understanding on GDP policies, strategies, best practices on child protection and education for the smooth implementation, execution and result oriented solutions.
Leading Pre and Post KAPS, assessments, children tests, base lines and evaluations.
Monthly and quarterly meetings with provincial and districts departments and donors to exchange effective communication, projects updates and solutions of problems
3.Program Management, Monitoring and delivery of results:Â Work closely with GDP management, district offices, literacy, social welfare, labour departments, CPWB, district and high courts for the smooth implementation of the projects.
Participate in related monitoring, reporting and evaluations.
Monitor and report on the use of program resources in collaboration with administration and finance departments; verify compliance with approved allocations goals, organizational rules and regulations,

Led, managed and implemented an integrated Child-Centered Education program in accordance to the Country Strategic Plan (CSP) IV -2016-2020 and Plan International Global Strategy, 100 Million Reasons. Have responded to some of the changes in the national context, incorporate lessons learnt during the current and past programme cycles, and ensure alignment with the development priorities outlined in the Government of Pakistan (GOP) national planning instrument, Pakistan Vision 2025.
Key Accomplishments
Established partnerships with organizations of national and international repute through formal MOUs on formal, non-formal and Early Childhood Education (ECE). These partnership includes Allama Iqbal Open University, Ministry of Education-Sindh, Japan International Cooperation Agency, NCHD, UNESCO and UNICEF.
 *Provided technical support and facilitation to 30+ implementing partners of Plan International.
*Led and managed UNESCO funded Girls Right to Education Project having financial worth of 15,302,222 PKR
 *Developed, produced and disseminated 100+ progress reports on various projects.
 *Established strategic partnership with Directorate of staff Development Punjab and UNICEF to roll out ECD/ ECCD teachers guide in the schools of the province of Punjab
*Produced 50+ knowledge products and IEC material including researches, papers, and booklets; employed for advocacy purposes.
* Represented Plan International on various forms of international and national repute.
Lead Education projects and programs: School Improvement Projects and Program (2005 - 2009) funded by SIDA, implemented in 390 government schools on education. The major goal of the project was to introduce whole school improvement approach (octagonal approach) to improve the quality of education through capacity building and trainings of teachers; head teachers, education department, students; school councils; student representative councils and communities; conduct the Mass awareness & enrollment campaigns; developing & dissemination of IEC material; rehabilitation of schools, provision of play and learning materials. The second major project was Early Child Hood & Care Development (2005 -2010) funded by Japan National Office. The aim of the project was to introduce holistic child and care development of 3 to 5 years children; develop ECE syllabus aligned with the ECE curriculum, motivate government to launch ECE in public schools and present workable model to government of Pakistan. The Third major project was Non Formal and Adult Literacy implemented through sponsorship funding. Another integrated project Promoting Child Rights in Cotton Farming Area 2010 -2012 funded by IKEA. It was joint venture of UNICEF and Plan International. The project was implemented in three districts (Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Ghotki) of South Punjab and Sind. The goal of the CRCF was to create an enabling environment for protecting the rights of children involved in cotton picking in cotton growing areas of Pakistan Enhancing Access to Quality ECCD/EC & Safer Schools Environment in flood Effected Districts of South Punjab funded by JNO and FLNO. The project was implemented in district Rajanpur, Layyah and Muzaffargarh. The aim of the project was the resilience of boys and girls of all ages is strengthened in recovery through their participation in education and Disaster Risk Reduction activities. Through this project 100 ECE centers were established which benefited 3000 children form age 3 5 years. 100 government schools were made child friendly and safe from natural disasters which benefited 22,000 children from age 9 -12 years.
Key Accomplishments
* 390 schools were made child friendly in district Chakwal, through octagonal approach which directly benefited 136,350 children. 1560 teachers; 390 head teachers; 16 government officials and 1950 SMCs
*790 teachers; 390 head teachers capacitated and trained on modern pedagogical skills, activity based learnings and multi-grade teachings.
*136 schools were rehabilitated; equipped with play, art and science material; 1950 SMCs were trained on their role and responsibilities; developed MIS at district level.
*Â 124 ECCD centers established in the communities and later on mainstreamed in government schools.
* Supported and capacity building of district education department to launch ECE classes in 1600 public schools.
*Â 2500 girls were enrolled and graduated from non-formal centers.
* Led Learn without Fear Campaign in Pakistan against corporal punishment in 7districts which resulted to pass the bill against CP from GB and Sindh government.
*Â Initiated provincial ECE policy in Punjab and Sindh. Exclusively developed ECE policy for Plan Pakistan.
* Developed and presented ECE model for the government of Punjab.
*Globally lead Early Child Care and Development (ECCD) concept and nominated as Global Leader for ECEÂ and attended international conference in Malaysia for sharing the concept at international forum.
* Working as global leader on ECE in World Forum on ECE and member of ARNEC ( Asia Regional Network for ECE)
